Gold bestows an aura of luxury upon the mundane, a symbolic elevation that turns banality into something sacred. Barbed wire, on the other hand, introduces tension and conflict, a stark contrast to the chair’s inviting function.

These interventions emphasize a paradox: a chair, designed for comfort, becomes a statement of inaccessibility or power. The use of gold and barbed wire raises questions about value, security, and the role of objects in shaping our perception of daily life. In this transformation, the chair transcends its utilitarian purpose; it becomes a work of art, a provocation, a symbol of duality.
